Puretron® FIRC is a non-regenerable drinking water cartridge constructed of totally FDA grade materials and media. This cartridge is designed to remove iron and other metals that may contribute to bad taste. The FIRC cartridge can be used alone or as a pre-treatment for other cartridges such as a carbon block. It is ideal as a  polisher for drinking waters that have been stored in metal tanks or as a pre-treatment for R/O.
